As we come to the end of the first half of fifth grade, I want to thank everyone again for the terrific support you have given your children this first half of the year.  It's been a pleasure getting to know you all.

Have a wonderful winter break. Enjoy time with family and friends, get some rest, and have lots of fun!

Best wishes to you all.

Mrs. Koue

***Remember to keep reading over the break.  I will be assigning a "book talk" activity when we return in January

The accompanying worksheet should be filled out in final draft form.  I will go over a few poems this week to show them how to complete the worksheet.

* Write one or two paragraphs per person, depending on how much information you have.  If you only have a small amount of information about your great-grandparents (or whoever) you may talk about both in one paragraph.

* Your conclusion should be written on a separate piece of paper.
