Read: 30 min.  I am putting off assigning the book report for another week.  Many students are still reading a book that they want to use.  I will be working on several parts of the report with my students in class once it is assigned. 
Bridge to Terabithia:  Finish the four page packet if necessary and turn it in tomorrow.

It was so nice to meet all of you at Back to School Night last week. I know there just wasn't enough time to personally speak with each of you, but I invite you to stop by the classroom after school any day for a chat or send me an email with any questions or concerns you may have. I really appreciate your support and am looking forward to a great year with your children.

My students will take their first Social Studies test this Thursday.  We completed a study guide in class which they should use to study for the test.
