I sent home corrected work today.  Along with this work, I gave everyone a Healthy Kids Survey permission form.  Please read this and sign if you would like your child to participate.  The fifth grade teachers would like the forms by Friday, so we can plan a time to administer the survey. Thanks.

I  sent home a final draft guideline sheet today for the heritage report.  I also gave the kids a checklist that they can use as they finish each part.  The final draft of this report is completed at home and is due on Friday, May 8.

We are making good progress on the rough draft of the heritage report this week.  Friday will be the last day we work on it in class.  I will send home a final draft information sheet with the rough draft that will explain how the final report should be put together.  The finished report is due Friday, May 8.

We got off to a good start with the heritage reports today.  We will continue to work on the rough draft in class this week and next.  The final draft will be completed at home and is due Friday, May 8.

Our departure time for Friday's trip has changed a bit.  We don't have to leave until 11:15 with the plan to arrive at the courthouse at about 11:45.  I will contact all parents who have offered to drive this afternoon.

I hope you all enjoyed the break.  It was nice to relax a bit before this very busy home stretch!

Our field trip to the Watsonville Courthouse is this Friday, so please send in your child's permission slip if you haven't already done so.  Robert Wall, the lawyer who is facilitating our court experience, will be speaking to the class tomorrow morning.  I will finalize all the last minute details with him then and will relay this information to you tomorrow afternoon.  I have many drivers and am happy that you all can come.

Crispin Vocabulary: Study the 15 review words for Friday's test.
