I hope you all enjoyed the break.  It was nice to relax a bit before this very busy home stretch!

Our field trip to the Watsonville Courthouse is this Friday, so please send in your child's permission slip if you haven't already done so.  Robert Wall, the lawyer who is facilitating our court experience, will be speaking to the class tomorrow morning.  I will finalize all the last minute details with him then and will relay this information to you tomorrow afternoon.  I have many drivers and am happy that you all can come. 

Homework

Read: 30 min,
Math: Homework #5, problems 1, 2, and 3.
Crispin Vocabulary: Study the 15 review words for Friday's test.
Science: "Severe Weather Survival Guide"- Finish the final drafts of the definition of your severe weather and how it forms sections. I will assign the final drafts of each section each night this week. The final completed booklet is due on Friday.

Definition of the severe weather type
How and why this weather forms
Effects of this weather
Preparation/Precautions
Glossary of at least 4 words
Diagram (this may be placed anywhere in your booklet.)

*We will assemble our booklets in class on Friday.
