This Friday is our trip to NASA Ames for our Exploration Encounter.  We will leave school promptly at 8:00, so please be sure that your child comes to school on time. Please send along a snack as we take a break midway through the program.  As a part of the 5th grade tradition,  we will be having lunch at a nearby In-N-Out Burger after our visit.  Lunches usually run from about $5 to $8.  Your child is also welcome to bring a lunch from home.

Thanks to all who sent back the signed Photo Release form.  If you have not already done this, please send it in as soon as possible.  NASA will not let students in without it, and it's a complicated and time consuming process to take care of it once we are there. Thanks!!!

I sent home corrected work today.  Please check to see if your child received a missing work notice.  As we approach the end of the first trimester, it's important that this work is turned in!

I also sent home another form for our NASA trip which is a week from tomorrow.  It is a photo release form that NASA requires for each student. If you would prefer to not have your child in photos that would go on the NASA website, please write this on the form and sign it.  Pictures most likely will not be taken that day, but the signed form is a requirement for your child's admission.

Thank you.
