I'm trying to figure out how to reduce the picture of all those darlings, but since I'm a bit technologically challenged, it might take me a few days!

Homework:

Finish book report pages and cover picture. We will assemble them in class tomorrow.

Finish note sheet for animal postcard activity.

Begin studying for science test which we will have next Tuesday.

***Reminders:

1. Completed book report pages due on Friday. No late reports will be accepted!

2. We will have a science test on atoms and elements next Tuesday. Study guides have already been filled out.

Hello everyone,

I hope you all had a good spring break. It was nice to relax and recharge a bit!

We will resume testing this week with our Language Arts and Science portions of the CSTs. I won't be assigning the usual homework. I'm only asking that the completed book reports be turned in by this Friday.

I sent home the permission slips for the 5th grade Boardwalk trip today. The event will take place on Thursday, Jun 2. The cost for an unlimited ride wristband is $20.95. Please make checks out to the Rio del Mar Parent Alliance. Because I need to send in payment at least 3 weeks before the trip, I need to collect all money by Wednesday, May 11. If your child already has a season pass, she/he may, of course, use it on the day of the trip.

Thanks and have a good week.

Remember to get a good night's sleep. We'll be taking the second half of the math CST tomorrow.

Sorry I'm posting this so late. My classroom internet wasn't working today!!!

Hello everyone,
We will begin standardized testing tomorrow. As the fifth graders have to take a science test on top of the regular math and language arts, I need to get them started this week.
The only homework I'm assigning this week is the heritage report which is due this Thursday. I neglected to hand out a final reminders sheet today, so I attached a copy in the homework section of this blog. I will send home a hard copy tomorrow.

Thanks and have a great week. The much longed-for spring break is almost here!
