As we are currently working on the "Frustration" essay in class, we won't start the book report until next week.  I've reminded my students that they should have completed a fiction chapter book at 5th grade level or above by then.

It was so nice to meet all of you at Back to School Night last week. This Friday my students will take their first social studies test (Chapter 3 - Early Explorers).  They have filled out a study guide which they should use to prepare. I've told them that they should begin studying today!
