We had fun consuming our edible cells last Friday.  The built and drawn cells were pretty cool too!  Great job, everyone!

We began the heritage report in class today.  We will continue to work on rough drafts of the report over the next two weeks.  I will then begin assigning final drafts (in small doses) the following week.  The completed report is due on Friday, May 11.

Our trip to court is this Thursday.  Everyone is invited to attend - even if you are not driving.  The mock trial will take place in one of the courtrooms on the third floor of the courthouse at 12:00.

I hope you all enjoyed some fun and, hopefully, a little rest over the past week.  We are off and running now on the final stretch of 5th grade!

Some important reminders:

Permission slips and payment ($29.50 for students and $17.00 for adults) for our Roaring Camp field trip are due by this Friday. Thank you!

I will be confirming with all parents who have offered to drive to the Watsonville Courthouse for our mock trial tomorrow.  Everyone is invited to attend.  Come see our justice system in action!
