Today I sent home permission slips and information about two important upcoming field trips:
The first is our Elementary Law field trip which will take place on Thursday, April 19, at the Watsonville Courthouse. Everyone is invited to come and watch our "cookie" mock trial!
The second is the 5th grade trip to Roaring Camp which is scheduled for May 10. Please send in your child's permission slips along with the payment by 4/13, to secure our spot. Thanks!
I also sent home the guidelines for the heritage report today. We will compose possible interview questions together in class tomorrow so everyone will have the opportunity to interview family members over the break. All interview notes and information are due Monday, April 16.
Homework

My Brother Sam: Read the Epilogue. Think about the questioned posed in the final paragraph. Also, think about the authors' purpose(s) for writing this book.
