We will be making a trip to the UCSC Life Lab on the UC campus on Friday, 2/7. I will send home permission slips tomorrow.
I've asked everyone to read a non-fiction book for an upcoming book report. Many of my students chose books from the school library last week, but I know that some still need to find a book they are interested in. I will be checking in with everyone by the end of this week.
*Corrected work, including the national park reports, will go home tomorrow.

Hello and welcome back! It was great to see everyone today. We had fun
sharing our "break" experiences and talking about what we will be doing
in class over the next few months. We also discussed how important it
will be for them to stay focused and strive to do their best as they
head toward 6th grade!
